Abstract/Description This archive consists of scripts and working drafts of plays and adaptations of plays by Norman Ginsbury, along with correspondence, cuttings and programmes relating to his work. The collection provides a valuable record of Ginsbury's career, whilst also showing the working methods of a playwright. His correspondence includes letters from some of the most eminent theatrical personalities of his day, including Edith Evans, Tyrone Guthrie and Sybil Thorndike.
