Fremantle Lunatic Asylum

The 38th monthly concert given at the Lunatic Asylum, Fremantle, yesterday afternoon, for the amusement of the inmates, was one of the most successful entertainments yet held at that institution. Dr. Walters presided, and an excellent programme of over twenty items was carried out, much to the delight of the audience, who gave unmistakable evidence of their appreciation of the various songs, dances, dumb-bell and club swinging exercises, phonograph selections, musical numbers, etc. kindly contributed by the following ladies and gentlemen:- Mrs. Maywood, Misses J. Willis, E. Green, T. Garrick, G. Willis, Watson, O. Thomas, Weymess, D. Maywood, Ward, Reynolds, B. Willis, T. Harken, Simpson; Messrs. F. Bateman, J. H. Otto, C. Hawkins, W. O. Mason, and Masters Cavanagh, W. Hatchett, Green, Townsend, W. Crowley, F. Harken, Dwyer, and Thomas.
