Abstract/Description	Inscribed on a note attached to the verso of the SPF mount card: "Corroboree Tree / In Richmond Gardens / Inscription on the Corroboree Tree / 'This tree has been preserved because around it the Yarra Yarra tribe of aborigines used to hold corroborees which were witnessed by Europeans in the early period of civilisation in the State."
