GENERAL NEWS. During the past few weeks Mr. Ready has got together at Fremantle a town band, who perform very well. The band kindly gave an instrumental performance at the Asylum on Saturday [23 Jan] for two hours and supplied a great amount of pleasure to the inmates. At the conclusion of the performance the band were warmly thanked by Dr. Hope, Acting Surgeon Superintendent of the Asylum.
