| Title |
Nimrod: an old stable at the top of the Cross |
| Abstract/Description |
Nimrod Street is committed to new Australian plays. One swallow doesn't
make a Summer of the 17th Doll, instead of waiting for The Great Australian Play, Nimrod Street's directors, John Bell and Ken Horter decided on a consistent policy of new Australian scripts plus the odd revival of a relevant classic. The theatre opened in December 1970. In fifteen months, 7 Australian
plays have been presented. 5 of them for the first time anywhere.
