| Title |
Houseman play "The Chinese Lantern " |
| Abstract/Description |
The Metropolitan Theatre began its new season at St. Laurence's Hall at the week-end with a pretty little production of Laurence Housman's pretty pretty Pastiche, 'The Chinese Lantern," a fairy-tale which interlaces cynicism, idealism, preciousness, doggerel, waggishness, lovely language, and pidgin English with wilful naughtiness. |
