University. The Pageant and the Mask |
| Abstract/Description |
Last night's performance of the University pageant and mask, "The Temple on the Hill," drew a crowded audience, Including the Governor and Lady de Chair, to the Great Hall. The features of this richly colourful display were reviewed in the "Herald" on Wednesday, and it only remains to be said that under the able direction of Mr. Alfred Gordon, as producer, the brilliant colour and life of the many attractive scenes, in which the course of learning is traced through the ages, were even more convincing on this occasion. |
