The Thirty-eight Theatre, an amateur group, came into being last April. Since then it has devoted itself entirely to play-readings, building up by that means a repertoire and a
versatlle casting list. Now the time has come when the committee thinks the group is ready for its first public productlon. Dodie Smith's "Bonnet Over the Windmill" is the
play; St. James's Hall the place; and May 11 the date. Miss May Holllnworth is in charge of activities. The committee of the Thlrty-elght Theatre Includes Miss Jean Ranken, Miss Alice Gould, Mr, Alfred Race, and Mr. Brian Wright. |
