Title University Dramatic Society [Dance]
Abstract/Description The University Dramatic Society is one of the oldest of the student organisations, and for many years it held an annual dance. These dances have not been held for a long time, but last night witnessed their revival, and it is hoped that the society will hold at least one each season in the future. Chinese lanterns and special electric lighting effects were used to decorate the Union Refectory, where the dance took place. About 200 attended. The dance committee, all of whom arranged parties, Included the Misses V. and T. Sundstron, Spaull, Beadle, Phillips, Scolllck, and Erdos, and Messrs, Dingle, Selby, Hornibrook, and O'Brien.
