| Abstract/Description |
On Saturday, Monday, and Tuesday. the " Lone Chateau" was the attraction at the above popular place of entertainment. The character of Lisette was very nicely enacted by Miss Rosa Cooper; and Mr Charles Young played Old Cartouch to perfection. Robin found a worthy representative inMr L.Harding; and Mr West did able justice to the part of Dennis. This drama was followed on each evening by a "Melange" by Messrs J. E. Taylor and W. P. Morrison, in which both gentlemen were success- ful in calling forth the approbation of their audiences. " Temptation, or The Fatal Brand" was played as an after-piece, in which the principal parts were taken by Miss Rosa Cooper, Mrs J. P. West, and Messrs Harding, West, Flintoff, and Leonard. |
