Abstract/Description |
Let it be said at the outset Jim Sharman's production for the Lighthouse Theatre Company of Rogers and Hart's famous musical Pal Joey doesn't take Australian theatre to hitherto unreached peaks of achievement but it is - as the audience enthusiastically displayed on opening night - a decidedly enjoyable, immensely amusing representation of 1940's high camp and a triumph of musical direction and orchestration by Alan John. |
