| Abstract/Description |
As a schoolboy, Patrick White helped edit and contributed to hand-written juvenilia posing as magazines. Among his efforts were, he happily admits in his autobiography, a number of melodramas, in one of which, The Mexican Bandits, almost the entire cast dies by gunfire in the final scene. And so it is, these many years later, in Netherwood. |
