| Title |
Capitol Theatre. New stage presentations |
| Abstract/Description |
Ted Henkel and Mr. Fred Scholl received a cordial welcome from audiences at the Capitol Theatre, both at the special session, which was held at 11:30 on Friday night, to honour their return from New Zealand, and at the regular afternoon and evening sessions on Saturday. The stage performance was the first which Mr. Clyde Hood had produced since his tour of the United States. It proved to be an eminently successful one far in advance of the tawdry presentation which he prepared for the opening of the State Theatre. |
