| Title |
"Billee Taylor" and "Charity Begins at Home" |
| Abstract/Description |
"Billee Taylor" was first produced at the old Princess's Theatre, with a cast which included Miss Nellie Stewart, Miss Wangenheim, Mr. Beaumont, Mr. Harwood, and others. It was very well performed at the time. That it did not find lasting favour with the public was not the fault of those concerned in its production, whether managers or actors. On Saturday night, and in the presence of a great audience, this opera was reproduced. |
