| Abstract/Description |
Sorcar, the world-famous Indian magician now visiting Australia, says his art of slicing a girl in half with a circular-saw, and other stage "marvels," are all part of his appeal to "nobel emotions." "We Indians, unlike French entertainers, do not depend on sex for theme. We prefer to intrigue the minds of men, showing them that marvels can still happen," he told me after one of his recent Brisbane performances. |
