Abstract/Description A realistic approach to stage settings, done with an economy of detail in the tradition of Russian producer Stanislavsky, is being introduced into the Marlowe Society's production of Anton Chekhov's The Seagull at the Union Theatre, University of Melbourne, on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights.
