A bankrupt theatrical promoter said in the Bankruptcy Court yesterday that he had borrowed £3,348 to keep his show -- "Barton's Follies" -- running. The bankrupt, Francis Roy Worley (known as Roy Barton), of The Entrance, was being publicly examined before the Registrar in Bankruptcy, mr. L. C. Bohringer. He was declared bankrupt on April 22. |
