The Melody Makers concert party will conduct a concert in the Town Hall on the nights of June 10 and 17 - The concert will bring back memories of the days round the 1900 period. The programme will include instrumental, comedy, and singing, plus voices from the past singing old-time hits and choruses. Old-time scenery and posters are being arranged by the students of the Technical College Art class, under the supervision of Miss M. Harding. Costuming will consist of bustles, bows, hats and parasols, old time bathers, flowing ball gowns, and the male attire of the period. |
