Description The ideas behind this current production of The Privilege Gene were originally tested in La Mama's
2009 EXPLORATIONS Season. In this version, there will be a retreat to theatrical elements that focus on the unstated and in so doing the text is redirected to a more appropriate place (between the lines ! ) of what is essentially a visual/physical theatre work. Influences include Jackson Pollock, Mark Rothko, Caravaggio,
Pinter, and Beckett. The work wants to exploit our theatrical form to reveal hypocrisies born of
the superior Anglophile aspects that remain embedded in our culture.
