A tableau effect, exploring relationships with a sacred heart. This is the first attempt at a major sculpture. It is a series of tableaux or, impressions on one basic structure. The first part explores man and it explores woman, against a background of catholic expressionism. It explores the need of "religion". After having rejected "the belief" people are reaching out, in need of - something - that something is very abstract - what is it? Perhaps one shouldn't be reaching "out" at all, perhaps it is more a question of reaching "in". |
