Description |
The Art End is Circa's experimental program. In Chroma, Circa delves into the world of colour, using Kandinsky's colour symbolism as a framework. See great bodies doing ridiculous things in a strangely beautiful way. Featuring quest artists and music by Lawrence English. In 1911, the great Russian abstract painter Wassily Kandinsky developed a theory of colours. In his theory, each colour was associated with a variety of moods and sounds. This scheme forms the basis for the circus improvisation in Chroma. There are ten scenes, each based around a colour, its associated moods and sound pale |
