| Description | Set in the summer of 1940 in the Hampshire home of a famous poet and his wife. Together they take in an escaping Czech refugee. Fifty years on, an American biographer, herself a survivor of the Holocaust, arrives to interview their son. As the two time periods unfold and overlap we learn, through a play both sharply funny and unbearably sad, how a terrible war impacted on five people. | |||||||||||||||||||
