Description Based on true events "Lottie" is set in the early 1900's and tells the story of Australia's first silent film star, Lottie Lyell. Lottie starred in such classic silent films as "The Sentimental Bloke" which was directed by internationally renowned filmaker Raymond Longford. Raymond and Lottie fell in love, but because Raymond was a married man, it was a secret romance.
