Charles Darwin would love our contemporary adaptation of his classic tale where we meet familiar characters as they struggle, not in turn of the century England but in futuristic Darwin, where a culturally dispossessed young man fights to make a new life for himself. DTC's Great Expectations will stretch the comedy and the tragedy of this story to its modern limits. |
