Ella played a range of piano pieces, Stella 'assisted' with a scene from As You Like It, Warwick played violin solos and Lenard sang 'well chosen songs'. It was particularly hard for Ella and Warwick as they had learnt of the death of their brother at the war front, the day before the concert, proceeds of which went to the war effort.
