"John Louis Jacobs, comedian of the Dramatic Hall, Leigh-street, said he was a spectator in the pit of the New Queen's Theatre on the 12th January. The play was Quadrupeds. The plaintiff played Abrahamedes, and Mrs
Lambert Titty Linda. There were rival tailors, Abrahamedes and Francisco, fighting on donkeys".
