Whet your appetite for a three-course performance dinner presented by Dick, in a culinary stopover between Christchurch and Shanghai. Dick is the alter-ego of well-known restauranteur and radio chef Richard Till, and Dick has a bone to pick. He reckons we've been bullied for years by TV chefs and glossy magazines. We've abandoned the traditional Kiwi fare of the 1950s, 60s and 70s for a confused dish-mash of Indian and Mediterranean, Caribbean and Chinese, French and fusion.
