| Description |
…In favour of Mr H. H. Vincent's Romeo not a great deal can be said. It was very uneven. In parts he was very good, but in many parts he was below mediocrity; and he did not mend matters by the excessive ranting in which he indulged again and again. He can certainly plead in extenuation the question of Friar Lawrence 'Art thou mad ?' though the Friar last night need have had little doubt upon the point…. |
