What makes a solo performer tick? The Solo Smart festival, featuring six of Brisbane's solo women performers, asks that question. Presenting works on their way to a final production at the international Magdalena Festival to be held in Brisbane in April 2003, Solo Smart is a unique opportunity for audiences to engage with a creative work in its gestation period. The works range from semi-autobiographical to fantastic, and incorporate diverse performance styles including physical theatre, circus, movement, music and stand-up. |
