The plot deals with the domestic troubles of an American millionaire, Henry Q. Conder, who, because he has the cash and can afford it, delights in the rare experience of engaging real live lords and ladies as members of his household to perform various menial occupations. The love story is a modern 'take' on The Taming of the Shrew. |
