| Description |
'It was a production designed to travel… The set was composed of platforms and drapes which could be assembed on any stage, although the third ingredient, light, cannot be dispensed with…Thus meagrely furnished, but equipped with a powerful imagination of the theatre, Miss Marsh evolved a production of 19 scenes that unrolled with the continuous action of a cinema film. Her colours were red and earthy greys, and a very handsome drop curtain was painted by Sam Williams'. |
