  					Production set in what Elric Hooper calls 'a tundra world', a cold and desolate northern climate somewhere between Scotland and Mongolia. The samurai-like costumes were influenced by Japanese director Akira Kurosawa, whose 1957 film Throne of Blood was based on Macbeth. He wanted to move the play from Scotland because the cast includes four Polynesians, including Samoan New Zealander Peter Sa'ena-Brown as Macbeth.
