Description The stories were originally brought to the Caribbean by African slaves. The most popular are based around the 'Anansi' character - sometimes a spider, sometimes a man, always wily, cheeky and full of pranks and fun. During his adventures he meets many other characters: Tiger, Mrs Dove, Kisander the cat, witches, pirates and many more. These stories will be presented in a 45 minute show with a maximum of audience participation, with children being encouraged to learn songs and make instruments and join in acting.
