Description Theatrical spoof of 1940s B-grade detective movies - a fast-moving musical parody, with a one-musician big band. The play follows the rise of hamburgers in Berlin after the war, and is a metaphor for Elson's view of an imperialistic America pushing its culture on to others…. In keeping with the cabaret theme, each show begins with a special guest performance from 7 - 8pm. 'A succulent sandwich of hardboiled dicks'.
