A rich and understanding portrayal of fifteen and sixteen year olds as they find their varied ways through the limited group loyalties of breakdancers and surfers to the deeper more wide-ranging ties and responsibilities of young adults. 'Young poeple are like driftwood' said Sunny Amey, taking her cue from the last scene of the play, 'after a while they settle, form a beach and become very strong'. |
