The nuclear 'issue' was never treated glibly and the humour was always black-edged.In case you took it all too lightly a bedridden woman - a 'survivor' in her shelter - encased in a cylinder of gauze standing in the centre of the stage was eerily lit from time to time giving us a snatch of diary-like monologue. … I was reminded of Beckett's Happy Days…Rainbow Warrior sketch included. Nancy, Nancy, Get My Clubs was for my money the most intelligent and most ntertaining show I've seen at The Depot this year. ACT Review. |
