The Carrington Mechanical and Novelty
Exhibition will be opened this evening at 710½
George-street, opposite the Haymarket Arcade,
when a show on much the same lines as others
which have found favor in the same street will
be on view. The chief attraction is a working
model of a coal-mine stated on the bills to be
the work of a Newcastle miner who was
engaged upon it for over five years, and to have
been purchased by the present proprietors at a
cost of £200. |
