Description M. Marius Sestier arrived in Sydney last week direct from Paris to exhibit in Australia the French Cinematographe invented by the Messrs. Lumiere. A successful private exhibition of the machine was given at the Lyceum Theatre last Friday and shortly a public demonstration of its power will be made.
The Lumière invention is the one which has been
drawing crowds at the Empire Theatre, London, and
elsewhere.
