Description HEAR THE SPEECH THAT WAS BANNED FOR 400 YEARS!

On May 1st, 1517, refugees living in London were under threat from rioters. One man stood between the rabble and the asylum seekers, Sir Thomas More. More's bravery was immortalized in The Strangers' Speech by William Shakespeare and is a masterclass in empathy. Fearing its power, Shakespeare's words were banned from performance for 400 years.
