The opening of the new Garrison Cricket Ground, in rear of the Victoria Barracks, will take place on Wednesday (to-morrow), the 15th instant, when a match will be played between the Garrison and the Royal Victoria Clubs. We understand that his Excellency the Governor-General has signified his intention of being present, and that the band of the XI Regiment will play at the ground during the afternoon. |
