The new Wesleyan Chapel in York-street, in this City, which, as we briefly announced yesterday, was opened for public worship on Wednesday last, is called the "Centenary" Chapel, because the determination to erect it was formed in the year 1839, which completed
a century since the formal institution of the Wesleyan Societies. |
