The first of a series of Saturday's " People's Concerts" was given in the Royal Lyceum-hall, Petersham, on Saturday night. The hall is just finished and is really one of the most convenient in the suburbs, being fitted with all the latest improvements. It is prettily decorated and is provided with three sets of seats on the level and a very roomy gallery. The company which the proprietor of this place has got together is a very good one, several of the performers being well known in connection with metropolitan variety shows, notably Miss Hetty Croucher, Messrs.
