Great preparations have been made on Ararat for celebrating Easter Monday. There is to be a procession during the day (in which the actors of the Chinese Thetare will take part), a torchlight procession, and a fancy dress ball in the evening. The procession, we believe, will receive the addition of about twenty Chinese, now located somewhere near Maryborough. These will be all dressed in the gorgeous clothing of their nation, and will add a rare effect to the part of the procession in which they will match. |
