Description £12 was donated to the Ovens District Hospital by the performance on Tuesday evening at the Chinese Circus, Spring Creek. The performance included portions of rotten melons becoming decidedly unpleasant missiles and a bell topper transferred from head to head. The piece opens with an ancient Chinese King at court. News suddenly arrives of the invasion of his dominions by a Prince of Tartary.
