What do you do when you realise life isn’t the fairy tale story you were told when you were young?
When you’re a kid, no one pictures their life with a flaw. No one imagines that by the time they’re thirty they will have this ‘thing’… this something, not necessarily visible to others, but that won’t let them live like they used to – or want to. No healthy child imagines themselves as an adult so bone achingly tired that they feel like melting into a puddle on the floor. What happens when you have to realise that everything you dreamed isn’t the reality that you find yourself in? |
