The directors of the Anglo-American Biograph have made arrangements to inaugurate the opening of the new Queen's Hall to-day with the well-known entertainmeut. The hall, which is situated opposite the Criterion Theatre, Pitt-street, and lately known as the Temperance Hall, has been entirely re-decorated and refurnished, thus making it one of the most comfortable places of amusement in Sydney. This seems to have been the 'formal' opening of the Hall under the name Queen's. However the name has been used informally in tandem with 'Temperance Hall' in newspaper columns and advertisements since late July 1900.
