Mary-Lou Bakerman, a jazz singer from Detroit, pines for her missing lover, Hairy Hands. In despair she employs the ineffectual love-struck Detective, Dennis Moon. Motor City Blues ravishes every preconception you have about music theatre. This twisted black comedy basks in a humour which is young, sarcastic and cheeky. |
