Description Yesterday being the national festival of the land of heroes, a party of upwards a hundred of the sons of Scotia and their friends sat down to a splended dinner in the Royal Assembly Rooms. The choicest wines and most sumptuous viands the Colony would afford were collected for the banquet, and the spacious hall was decorated in the most brilliant and graceful style, reflecting honour upon the Stewards and upon mine host, Mr. Barnet Levey. Colonel Allan, of H. M. 57th, was in the chair.
