MAY HOLLINWORTH, of the Metropolitan Theatre, has done more than most to keep the theatrical torch burning in Sydney and in doing it she's won a great amount of respect. She's been very ill, won't be able to resume her work until next year. As a tribute to her work and her courage the Metropolitan people are putting on a special performance of The Rivals as a testimonial' on Wednesday, November 8. The Kuringai Theatre Guild is also supporting the testimonial with perforrriarices of The Voice of the Turtle on Friday and Saturday. |
