On the afternoon of Saturday, June 18, at 3.30, at the Children's Open Air Theatre, Phillip Park, a play-readlng of "Pinkie and the Fairies," a three act play for children by W. Graham Robertson, will be given by the Sydney Drama Society (Incorporating the Junior Theatre League). A cast
of 20 adults and Juniors will read. Miss Edna Stewart's Verse-Speaking Choir will assist. Another reading will be given on Saturday, June 25, at 2.30 p.m., In the Little Playhouse, 221 George Street (near Quay). The proceeds will go to the Children's Library and Crafts Club. |
